Accessibility

Pepti.to should work for everyone. That includes people with disabilities who may use assistive technologies or need accommodations to browse the web. This page covers what we’re doing to make our site accessible and what to do if you hit a barrier.

Our Commitment

Everyone deserves equal access to the web. We build our site with that principle in mind, which means making sure people using screen readers can browse and buy, people with limited mobility can navigate without a mouse, people with low vision can read our content, and people with cognitive differences can understand our pages.

Accessibility isn’t a feature we add at the end. It’s baked into how we design and develop. We’re not claiming perfection, but we are claiming effort and attention.

Standards We Follow

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. The World Wide Web Consortium publishes these guidelines, and they represent the global benchmark for accessible web design.

What this looks like on our site: pages structured so assistive technologies can parse them correctly, images with alt text describing what they show, text that contrasts enough against backgrounds to be readable, forms with clear labels and helpful error messages, full keyboard navigation for people who don’t use mice, and no flashing content that could cause seizures.

Compatibility

We design pepti.to to work with the assistive technologies most people use. That includes screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver, magnification tools for people with low vision, voice control and speech recognition software, and standard keyboard navigation.

If something breaks when you’re using assistive technology, that’s a problem we want to fix. Let us know.

Current Limitations

Some areas of the site may not meet accessibility standards yet. Our live chat runs on third party software, and we have limited control over how accessible it is. Older pages might not align with current guidelines until we get around to updating them. Embedded content from external sources operates under those sources’ accessibility practices.

We tackle issues by priority. Anything that blocks someone from browsing products, understanding information, or completing a purchase goes to the top of the list.

Getting Help

If a disability is making it hard for you to use pepti.to, reach out to us. We’ll work with you to get you the information you need or help you complete what you’re trying to do.

Contact us through the Contact Us page. It helps if you can tell us what assistive technology you’re using, which page or section caused the problem, and what task you were trying to accomplish.

We’ll get back to you and figure out a solution together.

Share Your Feedback

We can’t catch every accessibility issue on our own. People who use assistive technologies daily notice things we miss. Your input makes the site better for everyone who comes after you.

Found a barrier? Tell us exactly where it is and what happened. Specific feedback lets us act faster and fix problems more effectively.

Third Party Services

Parts of pepti.to rely on third party tools, and we link to external websites. We don’t control accessibility on those platforms. When you interact with embedded widgets or follow links off our site, you’re subject to whatever accessibility measures those third parties have in place.

We prefer partners who prioritize accessibility, but we can’t make guarantees about external services.

Ongoing Work

Accessibility isn’t a one time project. Standards change, our site changes, and we learn more about what works and what doesn’t. We review accessibility on a regular basis, we build new features with accessibility in mind from the start, and we fix issues as they come to our attention.

This is continuous, not a checkbox.

We’re working to make pepti.to usable for everyone, and we appreciate your patience and input as we continue improving.
